Southern First Nations Secretariat Mission Statement

The Southern First Nations Secretariat is a service delivery organization accountable to and responsible for the promotion of the collective interests of the member First Nations by:

1.   Delivering effective and efficient services based on the principles of fairness and equity while respecting the cultural values and traditions.

2.   Facilitating communications amongst member First Nations, their organizations, and other like service providers.

The Delaware Nation at Moraviantown will officially launch its new Lenape Justice Project on Monday, November 14, 2011. It is a move which the Nation hopes will ultimately result in safer communities for people on the First Nation as well as in surrounding regions.
"We're providing alternative remedies which focus on restoring people to wellness, not punishing them," says Delaware Nation Chief, Greg Peters.
