Chippewas of the Thames First Nation
Chippewas of the Thames First Nation is building its economic base through a newly opened Chippewas Business Centre, located just minutes from Highway 401. The Nation also supports business start-ups through a trust fund established after the settlement of a multi-million dollar claim. The claim stemmed from a former Indian department official who defrauded the Nation out of land and monies.
