Delaware Nation - Moravian of the Thames

Calling themselves Lenni Lenape, this Nation was displaced from its origins in New York State, including Manhattan Island, as wars from settling colonists forced their migration to what is now known as Moraviantown.  The Delaware, Ojibwa, and the Iroquois joined forces with the great Shawnee leader Tecumseh to make a final stand against the invading American calvary in the war of 1812 fought on Delaware Nation Territory.  The Delaware Nation today is proud of its rich past and is moving forward by pursuing economic self-sufficiency with the launch of several new businesses, including a supermarket and restaurant.
